Karnataka Post Graduation Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is conducting by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) every year for admission into MCA, MBA(Infrastructure Management), M.Tech M.Arch, M.E, PG full time and part time courses in various colleges in Karnataka state for the academic year 2013-2014. Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for full time ME/MTech/MBA/MArch course
1. Candidate must have valid GATE score as directed by KEA
2. Candidate who have Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 50% marks in all subjects of all years
3. 45% marks in QE if candidates belonging to SC/ST and category-1 candidates

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for Part time ME/MTech/MBA/MArch course
4. Candidate who have passed prescribed qualifying examination with 50% marks in all subjects of all years
5. 45% marks in QE if candidates belonging to SC/ST and category-1 candidates
6. 3 years work experience organization situated a radial distance of 40 km from the institution

Karnataka PGCET 2013 Application Fee Details
Candidates who are willing to apply online, fill mandatory details with enclose photo, signature, challan and submit application form. If candidates applying more than once course as per KEA instructions follow

Fee Details
1. 1 course MCA, MBA, M.Tech/ME: Rs.600, SC/ST candidates: Rs.300
2. 2 years course for MCA, MBA, MTech/ME/MBA: Rs.1200, SC/ST candidates: Rs.600
3. M.Tech/M.Arch/MBA/MCA: Rs.1800, SC/ST: Rs.900

Karnataka PG CET Exam Pattern-Scheme
Exam will have two parts
Part I: 50 Questions each one 1 mark
Part II: 25 Questions each one 2 marks

Karnataka PGCET 2013 Notification and Admission Details:
1. Starting of Online Application:05-07-2013
2. Last date of application: 17-07-2013
3. Pay fee Last date: 15-07-2013
4. Challan form last date: July 1st week 2013
5. Admit Card Download: July Mid 2013 (22-07-2013)
6. PGCET Exam Date: July end 2013
7. Karnataka PGCET Results: 1st Week September 2013
