147 Vacancies for Geologist - UPSC Geologist Exam 2013 Apply OnlineUPSC
recently announced 147 new vacancies for the posts of Cat. 1 and Cat. 2
geologist. The vacancies includes Assistant Geologist, Jr. Hydro
geologist, Assistant Hydro geologists with different pay scales. The
last date to apply is 23rd September, 2013. Please read the
eligibility criteria carefully before applying. If you are eligible you
can easily apply from the main UPSC website.This vacancies were announced on 24-August-2013 on the online portal of UPSC with notice number 12/2013-GEOL. Please send your application on time and before the closing date 23-09-2013.

Eligibility Criteria :
- Education : One should have completed his/her master degree in either Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology or Geo-Exploration for Category I Posts. Masters Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a university, Master’s Degree in Hydrogeology from a recognized university for Category II Posts.
- Age : Age has to be between 21 - 32 years for Category I Posts and 21-35 years for Jr Hydro geologists Post and 21-30 years for Assistant Hydro geologists posts.
Applying Procedure :
Eligible candidates can apply online through UPSC website www.upsconline.nic.in. A small registration fee will also be charged. After filling online application form candidates need to take print out of application form.Application Fee :
- General/OBC Candidates - Rs. 200/-.
- SC/ST/Female/PH candidates – No fee charged.
