Directorate of School Education Puducherry state has notified the recruitment
of Primary Teachers on 171 district wise vacant posts- Written Exam and
Application Notification Details- September 2013
Directorate of School Education Puducherry has given notification for
171 vacant posts of primary teachers. The institute is conducting
written test to fill up the vacancies. Candidates who find themselves
suitable for the posts can apply online in prescribed format on or
before 04.10.2013. Candidate will be selected after considering the
scores in written test. Details about the educational qualification, how

Educational Qualification –
To qualify for the post, the candidate must be holding
H.S.C. degree OR Diploma in Technical Education OR certificate in basic
teachers training from an institute acknowledged by national Council for
teacher education with duration of at least 2 years.
Age limit- Age of the candidate must be not less than 18 years but not more than 30 years.
Pay scale- Pay scale for the said post is Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- with Grade pay of Rs. 4,200/-.
Selection basis- Selection of the candidate will be as per the marks acquired in the written test.
