Nalanda Open University Admission date extended till 21-10-13:
The Nalanda Open University has extended the admission date of various courses
for 2013-14 session. Looking in to the large numbers of students, for admission
date into first year certificates course, Intermediate, Graduation, Post
Graduate Diploma, Post Graduation, M.C.A, M.LIC, B.C.A, B.LIC and B.B.A etc has
been extended till 21.10.2013. All those candidates who want to get admission
into first year courses in Nalanda Open University now can get admission.
About Nalanda Open University
The Nalanda Open University is the only University in the
State of Bihar means for distance education. The University was established in
March, 1987. The University is named after the famous Nalanda University of
Ancient India. Right now the University is functioning from its camp office at
Biscomaun Bhawan, 2nd,3rd,4th and 12th Floors, Patna 800 001.
It has a examination centre for about 1000 students, art
Library with about 50,000 titles and a computer laboratory of about 300 IBM
Pentium-4 computers. The University is recognised by the Distance Education
Council (DEC), University Grants Commission, and Ministry of HRD, Government of
India for imparting education through distance mode.
