About National Leprosy Eradication Program- NLEP Bihar
The National leprosy eradication Programme is an effort of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India that consider it as health scheme. The Scheme is headed by the Deputy Director of Leprosy Health Services underneath the executive management of the directorate General Health Services Govt. of India. Whereas the NLEP strategic approaches and plannings are developed centrally, the programme is enforced by the States/UTs.
