About CTET 2014
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is an Entrance
Examination which is compulsory for candidates if he/she wants to get appointed
as a Teacher in Central Government School through CBSE. The Ministry of Human
Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of
conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of
Secondary Education Delhi. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
conducts CTET examination twice in a year to find eligible candidates for Teacher
posts. This year too, CBSE has notified CTET 2014 Examination date which has
been scheduled to be held in February 2014.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: There are no age limitations for CTET 2014. Read
official notification for more details about age.
Educational Qualification: Read educational qualification
below.
- For Class I to V (Primary Level) Teachers: Candidates should possess the qualification of Intermediate/ 10+2/ Class 12th with minimum of 50% marks as well as 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or BSTC.
- For Class I to V (Junior Level) Teachers: Candidates should possess the qualification of Graduation degree from any recognized University as well as 2 yrs Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed.

- For Primary Level Teachers: General and OCB category candidates need to pay Rs. 500/- while SC/ST/PWD and other reserved category candidates will have to only Rs. 250/-.
- For Junior Level Teachers: General and OCB category candidates need to pay Rs. 800/- while SC/ST/PWD and other reserved category candidates will have to only Rs. 400/-.
Selection Procedure: Eligible Candidate will be selected for
Teacher posts based on their marks obtained in Written Examination of CTET
2014.
How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to
apply for CTET 2014 are required to fill online application form from CTET
official website at www.ctet.nic.in or www.cbse.nic.in
before 31st October, 2013. After filling online application for CTET Feb 2014
candidates need to download system generated application form and send it along
with relevant documents to the following address given below.
