Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Rourkela has notified
to hold a written examination to fill up 231job vacancies of Technician
Trainees. The minimum requirement for the Posts is having ITI
Certification in relevant trade. The selected candidate will be
appointed as OCTT and ACTT trainees at Rourkela (Odhisa) Steel Plant of
SAIL India. Candidates with a profile matching to the below given job
description.

Pay Scale of Operation cum Technician Trainee:
Stipend during Training:
As it’s a trainee post appointment so during the training period the
stipend is INR. 10700/Month the moment candidate complete his first
year of training the remuneration will be increased by 2200 Rs. And the
sum of stipend in second year will be INR. 12,200/month/
Scale of Pay on Confirmation:
Candidates who complete the training successfully will be appointed as
Operators and Technicians in Sail India at S3 grade in that the salary
will be INR. 9160 – 3% - INR. 13,150/-
Required Qualification Eligibility:

Pay Scale for the post of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee):
Stipend during Training:
Candidates appointed under this post will have to go through 2 year
training in that they will be eligible for Stipend of Rs.8600 and
Rs.10000 in Second year of training.
Scale of Pay:
After successfully completing the training period these candidates will
be taken on to the permanent payroll n get appointed as Attendant Cum
Technicians at SAIL Raurkela on S3 Grade of salary n will be getting
INR 8630- 3%- INR. 12080/
Educational qualification Eligibility: Candidate must possess a ITI certification in relevant trade.
SAIL Selection Process:
Candidates will be appointed after following a standard selection
procedure of SAIl in that they will first short list candidates through
performance in written examination and then these candidates will be
called for Interview round for final appointment.
Fee of Application:
Inr. 250 for OCTT
INR. 150 for ACTT
Mode of Payment: Payable at SBI Bank branches through Challan n Demand Draft.
