Punjab SSA ( Punjab Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan ) has issued recruitment notification inviting candidates for filling posts of Teacher Graduate Teacher (TGT), Principals and PGT in Modern Schools on Contract basis. The candidates are having the option of applying online before Oct 18 , 2013. Age Limit Required :
The candidates must be having age between 18 to 35 years old for being eligible. There are provided the age relaxations as per rules of Govt.
Educational qualification required :
The candidates must have done Master degree having minimum 50% marks and have done B.Ed for Principal Posts.
The candidates applying for PGT posts must have done MA or M.Sc or M.Com with BT or B.Ed.
The candidates applying for PGT Computer must have done MCA , MSc IT or they have done BE/ B Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering for being eligible.
The candidates applying for TGTs posts must have done graduation degree for being eligible.
Fee for application form :
For Unreserved category candidates : Rs. 500/-
For SC/ST/PH category candidates : Rs. 250/-
What will be the selection process : Based on written test.
Pay scale offered :
The candidates selected for Principal posts will be given Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with a grade pay of Rs. 6600/-.
The candidates selected for PGTs posts will be given Rs. 10,300 – 34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-.
The applicants selected for TGTs post will be given Rs. 10,300 – 34,800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 36,00/-.
