United Public Service Commission, UPSC is the formal body to conduct
recruitment and selection of personnel in various public sector
organizations, government departments and ministries at central level.
So in chain of such recruitment UPSC has invited applications under UPSC Recruitment 2014 for NDA and NA, where NDA stands for National Defence Academy and NA stands for Naval Academy. He exam of NDA and NA belongs to premium level posts in Indian Military. UPSC notified this exam under notification of advertisement number F.No. 7/2/2013-E.I(B). The official announcement and release of NDA and NA1 Recruitment was made on 21 Dec 2013.
Job Description: UPSC NDA 2014 and NA 1 – Vacancy Details
NDA and NA 1:
A sum of 375 vacancies are open for National Defence Academy NDA &
Naval Academy NA 1 2014. Separately for Indian Army- 208 Posts, for
Indian Navy- 42 Posts and for Indian Air Force 70 Posts are vacant
whereas a sum of 55 posts is vacant for Naval Academy under the 10+2
Cadet Entry Scheme of UPSC.
Minimum Eligibility Conditions to apply for NDA and NA 1
Required Education Qualification:
One must possess 10+2/Intermediate or class 12th qualification with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects from any recognized board of education or equivalent.
Minimum Age Eligibility:
To apply for NDA or for NA 1 candidate should be born between 02 July 1995 to 01 Jan 1998
UPSC NDA and NA 1 Exam 2014- Selection Process
There will be a written examination to shortlist applicants, this exam
will take place in April month of 2014. Candidate who clears the
examination will be called for interview rounds. Candidates are advised
to visit SSB’s official website to know about interview date and venue
if they have qualified the written test of NDA or NA 1 or INA 1.

Application Fee for NDA and NA 1 2014:
You will have to pay INR. 100/- if you belongs to the General or OBC
category and if in case you are from any other category then you don’t
need to pay any fee as you are exempted from application fee under the
rules of reservation.
Mode of Payment:
The fee is payable through internet banking of SBI or can be paid at an brand of SBI bank in your local area.
