Operator Cum Trainee Exam has been conducted successfully today, this
exam will allow thousands of candidates to appear in Interview rounds
to be conducted for the final selection of 121 Operator Cum Trainee
posts vacant at SAIL Rourkela Plant. The exam was taken at various
centers today in various shifts namely the morning meeting and evening
meeting.
SAIL Operator Trainee Exam- 07 Jan 2014 Exam- Overview
SAIL Operator cum Trainee Exam 2013 was conducted today; thousands of
IIT certificate holders who applied for these posts have given the
exam. The question paper was formatted on the official pattern provided
by the SAIL officials as well as the questions asked in SAIL OCT Exam
of all shifts was mapped within the syllabus. Overall it was a very
relaxing session for the participants. Below we have shared our expert

SAIL OCT Exam – Review and Analysis in Expert Words
Today we have Mr. Shyam Ghoshal with us to tell his opinion about the
question paper came in today’s SAIL OCT Exam. First of all let me
introduce you with Mr. Shyam Ghsal, so folks; Mr. Shyam is working as
Project Head in SAIL India and he started his career as Operator Cum
Trainee post then he continued gaining qualification and kept applying
for new vacancies and a sum of promotions and his intelligence took him
to this level.
Expert opinion: The SAIL OCT Exam held on 4 Jan was divided into two shifts and in both shifts we had a very unique set of questions so I want to share my opinion separately for both exam. As we know the question paper had 125 questions from various areas of subjects and the paper were divided into 2 sections namely part 1 and part 2. SAIL Exams usually comes on same competitiveness level so encountering
them tough happens only when under rate those so it was a good set of
question paper in both shifts for SAIL OCT Aspirants.
On the basis of both question papers I must say the expected cut off may go very low, nearly 90 to 120 marks merit score.
