Pay Scale:
- SSC CGL Post Code A to S will be appointed on Pay Band- INR. 9300-34,800
- SSC CGL Post Code S to % will be appointed on Pay band- INR. 5200 to 20,200
SSC CGLE 2014 Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
Each job profiles requires to have a set of skills and knowledge to
work for so same rule applies on SSC CGL vacancies, as SSC CGL hires
graduates at various positions and in various department &
ministries so here we have specific variations with the eligibility
parameters and to state the staff selection commission minimum
eligibility conditions we have split them into categories like Age and
Qualification for each job, as mentioned below-
Age Limit Eligibility for SSC CGL-
To apply for SSC CGL Written Exam 2014 one must be aged minimum 18
years and maximum 27 years. (Check Notification to know about variants)

Required Qualification Criteria:
As On- 1st January 2014
- For SSC CGL Complier Posts: One must possess a bachelor degree with Statistics or Economics or Math (A subject only)
- SSC CGL Statistical Investigator Grade- II: One must possess Graduation in Statistics or as One of specialized or compulsory subject.
- For Further Posts: Bachelor Degree from any UGC recognized university.
Selection Procedure:
SSC CGL follows a standard selection process that includes SSC CGL Tier
I & SSC CGL Tier II written Examination and in SSC CGL Tier III a
Personality test followed by interview Round for Final Appointment.
SSC CGLE 2014 Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to UR/OBC (Male) category needs to pay INR 100 as
application fee, Women, SC & ST applicants are exempted from
examination fee so they can apply for free.
Mode of Payment of Application Fee:
- Offline Payments: If you want to pay the application fee through offline mode then you will have to use the Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS), you can buy CRFS Stamps from any Post Office Branch in your area. You will have to stick this stamp on the application form at specified space else your applications for SSC CGLE will be rejected.
- Online Payments: Applicants willing to pay online needs generate the challan at the time of registration and pay it at any SBI Bank branch in your area, check notification to see instructions of filling online application fee carefully.

Both Online and Offline Registrations are possible, To apply for SSC CGL Exam online you are advised to visit http://ssconline.nic.in. or http://ssconline2.gov.in,
at following websites you will find the link navigating to SSC CGLE
2014 Registration- Open it and fill the form buy entering information
in all compulsory fields. When you confirm your registration save your
registration number and login IDs for Future References. The online
applications are open till 12/02/2014 (5:00 PM) for First Phase of
Registration and 14/02/2014 (5:00 PM) for Phase II of SSC CGL
Registration.
Whereas for offline mode consider taking printout of prescribed
application form and fill it with all asked details and enclosures,
when done send it at the provided address.
