 Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is a government body under Ministry of Consumer Affairs which looks after Food and Public Distribution.  According to latest notification Bureau of Indian Standards announced new recruitment drive for Assistant Director  for two department  Administration and Finance & Public Relations. Vacancy Details

09 vacancies are available for the posts of Assistant director. Desiring candidates need to submit their online applications by 14^th April, 2013. There are 07  posts for Administration and Finance department and remaining 02 posts for public relaxation.

 

Eligibility Details

Candidates having age more than 30 years are not eligible.Maximum age limit is 30 years for Asst. Director post.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates have to undergo a online examination which will be held by department. No expense will pay to any candidate.
 

  

How to apply

A person should have a valid email account for applying online. A signed photograph of the candidate should be scanned and uploaded. Logging to www.bis.org.in is possible from 25^th March, 2013 to 14^th April, 2014. On the webpage one need to go to Recruitment Advt/Result section and click on the option. A form has to be filled and submitted at this place. A Bank Challan is made available to the candidates. The candidates are required to deposit some amount of money on the basis of this Challan. Within 48 years the site will let you know as to whether the money transaction has been successful or not. An email is sent as confirmation of receiving uploaded photo and deposited fee.
