total 510 candidates on various posts; the vacant designations are
assistant professor, medical and health officer. Selection of the
candidates will be done as per the written exam test score and the
performance of the candidate in the personal interview. Fees structure,

Medical, Health and Assistant Professor Teaching Jobs in Assam PSC Recruitment 2013- Vacancy Details and Job Description
Job title- Medical and Health officer/ Assistant Professor
- Total posts- 510 Vacancies
- Medical and Health Officers: 450 Vacant Positions
- Assistant Professors: 60 Posts respectively
Minimum Eligibility Standards-
Required Educational Qualification- The qualification for the relevant posts is as follows| Job Title and Department | Educational Qualification |
| Medical and Health officer Under: Health and Family Welfare Department (Deptt.) | MBBS Degree |
| Assistant professor in Cotton College, Guwahati/Assistant professor in Government College, Haflong | Applicant must be a post graduate with minimum 55 % marks and must have cleared NET (national eligibility test) test. |
Eligibility of Age Limits-The age of the applicant must not be less than 21 years and not to exceed 38 years as on 01.01.2013. SC/ST candidates are allowed a relaxation of 5 years as stated by the rules.
Application Form Fees: The candidates are required to pay fees of Rs. 5 in form of Treasury challan. Fees for SC/ST candidates are Rs. 2.50.The challan must bear the name of the post you wish to apply for.
Selection Method: Selection of the candidate will be done on the grand score in the written examination. A personal interview will be conducted only for those who pass in the written test.
