Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2014 for DDA, Section Officers, PS, PA and Assistants on Deputation Basis
The Prasar Bharati (PB), is a statutory autonomous body established
under the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act 1990.
It is India’s largest broadcaster and comprises Doordarshan & All
India Radio. It wishes to recruit young and skilled personnel for
manning the posts of Engineering Assistant & Technician in offices
spread all over the country.With the recent announcement from Prasar Bharti, it intend to invite candidature from the existing employees of the State and Central government, to join on deputation on existing and anticipating positions of Deputy Director Administration (DDA), Section Officers, Private Secretary, Assistants and Personal Assistants. Candidates who fulfill the requisite qualifications and age etc. for these posts, can apply to Prasar Bharti, the national broadcaster to join this workforce for an penultimate exposure.

Pay provisions:
- Deputy Director Administration (DDA): The candidates joining PB on this cadre will receive a remuneration in the scale of Rs.15600-Rs.39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600 in Pay Band-III
- Section Officer: The candidates joining PB on this cadre will receive a remuneration in the scale of Rs.15600-Rs.39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 in Pay Band-III
- Private Secretary: The candidates joining PB on this cadre will receive a remuneration in the scale of Rs.15600-Rs.39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 in Pay Band-III
- Assistant: The candidates joining PB on this cadre will receive a remuneration in the scale of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600 in Pay Band-II
- Personal Assistants: The candidates joining PB on this cadre will receive a remuneration in the scale of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600 in Pay Band-II
- Apart from the salary, the selected candidates will be entitled to receive allowances and perks as per the central government regulations
- Deputy Director Administration (DDA): The candidates must have worked with an analogous cadre with the Central Government or an Autonomous body for at least 4 years of regular service in the same cadre (Pay Band-III with Grade Pay Rs.5400) or for at least 5 years of regular service with PB-II with a Grade Pay of Rs.4800. The candidates must possess Practical knowledge of Secretarial Practice with acquaintance with the rules and regulations and experience of Establishment, Administration, Vigilance and Finance matters.
- Section Officer: The candidates must have worked with an analogous cadre with the Central Government or an Autonomous body for at least 2 years of regular service in the same cadre (Pay Band-II with Grade Pay Rs.4800) or for at least 4 years of regular service with PB-II with a Grade Pay of Rs.4600. The candidates must possess Practical knowledge of Secretarial Practice with acquaintance with the rules and regulations and experience of Establishment, Administration, Vigilance and Finance matters.
- Private Secretary: The candidates must have worked with an analogous cadre with the Central Government or an Autonomous body for at least 2 years of regular service in the same cadre (Pay Band-II with Grade Pay Rs.4800) or for at least 4 years of regular service with PB-II with a Grade Pay of Rs.4600. The candidates must possess Practical knowledge as Private Secretary/ Personal Assistant.
- Assistants: The candidates must have worked with an analogous cadre with the Central Government or an Autonomous body in the same cadre (Pay Band-II with Grade Pay Rs.4600) or for at least 5 years of regular service with PB-I with a Grade Pay of Rs.2400. The candidates must possess Practical knowledge as Personal Management and/ or Administration.
- Personal Assistants: The candidates must have worked with an analogous cadre with the Central Government or an Autonomous body for at least 2 years in the same cadre (Pay Band-I with Grade Pay Rs.4200) or for at least 5 years of regular service with PB-I with a Grade Pay of Rs.2400. The candidates must possess experience of Stenographer Grade-D.
Period of Deputation:
- For all these posts, the period of Deputation will be ideally for 3 years.
- Under no circumstances the candidates should have crossed 56 years of age as on closing date of receipt of application. Applications from CSS, CSCS and CSSS cadre will be preferred.
