Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment 2014 Application
Indian Navy has
dispersed a notification as Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment
2014 and offers job opportunity to unmarried male
candidates for the post of sailor from sports quota.
Indian Navy invited to participate in the
recruitment drive scheduled at Kohima on 28 April 2014 for Sailor Entry, senior
secondary recruits (SSR)-02/2014 Batch.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed 10th/12th in any stream from recognized Board
with Maths & Physics as Compulsory subjects; optional subjects Chemistry/Biology/Computers.
Age: The
candidate should be 17 to 21 years as on date of. Candidates should have been
born within 01 Oct 1993 to 30 Sep 1997 (Both dates inclusive).
Selection Criteria:
Selection
of recruits is based on the order of merit depending on their performance in
written tesr, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & fitness in the medical
Examination.
Written Test: The
question paper will be objective type and will comprise of four sections i.e.
English, Science< Mathematics and General Knowledge. The Syllabus for the
examination can be obtained from website.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT): PFT will
consist of 1.6 km run to be completed in 7 min, 20 squat ups and 10 push-ups.
Medical Standards and Procedure: After
the medical examination, as per the report and current regulations the sailor
is applicable to enter.
Final Medical Examination: All the
candidates those who have received the call letter have to undergo a Final
Enrolment Medical Examination at Chilka prior to enrolment

certificate

Original and attested copy of 10+2 /
equivalent

Original and attested copy of NCC certificate

Self attested envelop 22 x 10 cmswith Rs.10
stamp affixed

Original and attested copy of domicile
certificate
o
Seven recent color passport size photographs
Note: Attesting officers name and address
should be clearly mentioned in the seal.
