PM Narendra Modi today inaugurate “Sansad
Adarsh Gram Yojna” for villages on the birth anniversary of Jaiprakash Narain (JP). Under this scheme each Member of Parliament
(MP) has to take responsibility of 03 villages to convert them into model
villages till 2019. Even PM himself
select a village in Varanasi and aims for its development. If this pattern adopts then 2379 gram

Aadarsh Gram Yojna (SAGY)
The aim of Aadarsh Gram is to develop agriculture,
health, education, sanitation, environment, livelihoods etc in village. Further information will be available at
MyGov site which contributes for MakeinIndia.
PM says we will have to achieve this mission before next lok sabha
elections.
The women of villages have to wait for
night to take defecate as they have not toilets. The SAGY run on Gram Panchayat as basic unit
having population of 3000-5000 in plain areas and 1000-3000 in hilly, tribal
areas.
